Cape Cod Pt 2

 On our first official morning in Cape Cod we started off our day slow with tea and muffins (amen) and then headed over to the Cape Cod Heritage Museum and Gardens. It was only like a 5 minute drive from the house as it backs up to the same pond the house we were staying in was on.

Cape Cod Part 1

 Tuesday morning while the rest of us were asleep Luke headed out to run to MIT.  I think it was about a mile and a half away and I know he had to cross the Charles river via some bridge - but it all happened before I was awake. When he'd asked the night before if we cared if he left early to go do a run I said I didn't mind as long as he took a picture ;)

Happy Friday, friends! Listen - is this the cutest picture of me ever, heck to the no.  BUT it literally sums up my FAVORITE parts of summer.  Slow mornings, pajamas forever, no makeup, messy hair, etc.

Cheesecake Jars with Strawberry Topping

We have a new favorite dessert and its these cheesecake jars with strawberry topping. Let me preface this by saying that G is really the only cheesecake lover in our house... the rest of us enjoy a bite or two but it wouldn't be our dessert of choice.  Enter these jars ;) The cheesecake filling part is light and fluffy and not nearly as thick and rich as standard cheesecake.  Everyone in my family LOVED these and has requested we make them again ASAP.

Food at home ;) Y'all - I love traveling but am so happy to be at home eating food at home. hahahaha

Monday night I made an easy alfredo pasta and we grilled steak to go along with it and I"m not sure I've bene happier.

Happy Friday, friends! First up on my list of FAVORITES is our family vacation! We've been in Boston and Cape Cod this week having so much fun. I've been sharing bits and pieces over on IG and will be sharing all the details here starting next week.

My life couldn't be more different than Jack Kinsey but everything he posts is so special and unique and whimsical.  He's uber-creative and incredibly talented and I always find myself watching his content at least twice to take it all in.
